New, more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly options, know as Low GWP refrigerants, are being introduced. After competing this training program, students will be eligible for taking the Low GWP Refrigerant Safety - A2L Refrigerants examination for certification. Cardinal Energy Services is an approved proctor for this certification through Esco Group.
Section 608 of the Federal Clean Air Act requires that all persons who maintain, service, repair or dispose of appliances that contain ozone depleting refrigerants be certified in proper refrigerant handling techniques.
After taking this course, students will have gained the knowledge required by Section 608 and eligible to sit for the exam. Upon successfully passing the exam, students will receive a a certificate, often referred to as a "CFC Card".
The R-410A Safety Training Program addresses the issues of safe handling, training and certification with the use of R-410A.
Provides necessary training and practical knowledge to safely service systems containing R-410A and R- 407C, the R-22 phase-out, appropriate refrigerant and oil applications, service techniques, and safe handling of R- 410A.
After completion of this course, and successfully passing the exam, students will receive a certificate.
